ネイティブの先生を中心に、先生と生徒たちが協力して「フランケンシュタイン」の絵本を作成しました。
When I was teaching at my previous school, I remember how the students did not know much about Halloween or its origins. We wanted to bring the spirit of Halloween to Morimura, so we started looking for stories that the students might know. Frankenstein came to mind. Jaxon and I adjusted the original story to be more school-appropriate, while always trying to stay true to the original story. Special thanks to Hiro-sensei who translated the story from English to Japanese and Ai-sensei who helped us with recruiting students and gathering supplies. Thank you as well to all the students (中１、中２、中３、高１) who volunteered to illustrate the story. Overall it was a great experience and we are very thankful to all the teachers and students that made this book possible. I hope that it will be enjoyed by others for many years to come.
