Good afternoon everyone! Sam here! We started our day by warming up our bodies, to prepare us for the day. Our first song of the day was our introduction song called “The Hello Song” and then we did a fun song called the “Freeze Dance”. After our songs, we moved on to our topic for the day, the “United Kingdom”. We introduced the flag and we spoke about some common animals that can be found in the “United Kingdom”, including “Hedgehogs”, “Foxes” and “Badgers”. Our first activity for the day was a game called “What’s the time Mr Fox?”. The children loved pretending to be “Mr Fox”!
After lunch, we moved onto our movie time where we watched “Bluey” in English and “Minions” in Japanese. After that, we had our second English lesson of the day, we danced to a song called “Walking, Walking”. After our songs, we continued our discussion about animals in the “United Kingdom”. We focused on “Hedgehogs” and learned a new word related to them, which was “Spines”. Our activity for this lesson was a “Hedgehog Craft” and the children made them so colorful. Amazing work everyone!
