Good afternoon everyone! Sam here! We started our day by warming up to a fun Jamaican song. We then did our introduction song called “The Hello Song” and this was followed by a fun song called “Across the Sunny Sea”, an ILH original. The children are getting really good at it! Afterwards, we had a lesson focusing on “Food” and “Cooking”. This was a great way to review our foods and learn some new ones. For our first set of activities, we made “Chef’s Hats” and played a game called “Hungry Hungry Children”.

After lunch, we moved onto our movie time where we watched “Minions” in English and “Spongebob” in Japanese. After that, we had our second English lesson of the day, we danced to the “The Freeze Dance” and spoke about “Food”, in particular “Gelato”. We spoke about all of the different flavors we like including “Chocolate”, “Strawberry” and “Mint”. For our afternoon activity, we made “Puffy Paint Ice Cream Paintings” and then we had some “Puffy Paint Free Play”, which was a lot of messy fun. Awesome work everyone!
