Good afternoon everyone, welcome to Kodomono No Mori! My name’s Sam and I’m one of the main English teachers. It’s wonderful getting to know everyone, especially with some new faces at the afterschool today. Today the children spent all day at Kodomo No Mori. We started our day by having lunch with the children. They were very excited to show off their unique and delicious lunches to everyone.

After lunch, we had our English circle time, where we had our introduction lesson for the afterschool. We started our lesson by dancing to two songs “Hello song” and “Monkey Dance”. We also learned some sentences such as “What’s your name?”, “Where are you from?” and “How old are you?”. For our activity today, we made our own personal passports. They looked amazing! We finished our day, with a small amount of outdoor play as the rain stopped for a short while. Excellent work everyone!
