Hello everyone! Mattia Sensei here! Today we continued to learn about weather and temperature in English! We danced to “Jungle Samba” and “Walking, Walking” and Bon-Omori traditional songs! Then, we played a very fun game called “Crazy Weather”! Everyone held a big parachute and, based on the weather (snowy, sunny, stormy, rainy, cloudy, windy) we had to emulate the weather by moving the parachute. Example: if the weather were stormy, we moved like crazy the parachute, if the weather were sunny, we lifted the parachute up in the air like a big sun! Everyone was so good at guessing the weather and also at remembering the various English words we studied today! The day continued with our movie time where we watched episodes of Powerpuff Girls, Spider-Man, and Pingu! During the second activity of the day we crafted animals from vegetables (eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers). This is a very traditional activity during Bon-Odori festival! Well done everyone for crafting such unique animals and creatures! Let’s keep learning English together and never stop having fun!
