Spring Camp (Day 13)

Good afternoon everyone! We have been looking at all of the different parts of “Camping”. Today we look at my favorite parts “Stargazing” and “Fishing”. We started our day with some exercises, to refresh our bodies and prepare us for the day. Next, we had our first circle time and we learned all about “Stargazing” and all of the different things you might see in the night sky such as “Stars” and the “Moon”. For our first activity we made an interactive painting that showed the night sky. Afterwards, we went outside and played some English games such as “Hide and Seek” and we even had time to do some pretend cooking. For our lunch today, we had a picnic outside as the weather was lovely and warm and the cherry blossom petals were blowing in the wind. It was very peaceful for the children!

After lunch, we had our second circle time, where we learned about different creatures that live in rivers and ponds such as “Crayfish” and “Trout”. For our activity, we did some pretend fishing by the pond and prepared and cooked some different paper fish. Afterwards, we danced to the “Baby Shark” song. Awesome work everyone!
