Hello this is Mattia Sensei and today I thought with Joshua Sensei! Our weekly theme is Happy Campers! We started off by dancing to “Move!” and “Open Shut Them”. We played two fun games today focused on teamwork. The first has been Cup Catcher which consisted on picking up the cups with ropes and rubber bands without making them fall. The second game, Mölkky (a type of bowling from Finland) involved hitting the ball pins. The goal of the game was to arrive at 50 points. The day proceeded with a nice walk among the cherry blossom inside the school campus. After lunch, we watched some cartoons both in English and in Japanese (Disney’s House of Mouse, Shinkarion and Dog Patrol). The afternoon activity has been about creating a campfire. We crafted logs and fire flames. Everyone had loads of fun and we learnt so many new English words regarding the adventurous camping world!
