Hello! It’s Joshua! We’re starting the week off with a spring in our step here at Kodomo no Mori! It’s starting to feel like spring little by little, isn’t it? Our theme for circle time today is “jumping and hopping”. First, we did the “Walking walking” song which had a bunch of actions like walk, run, hop and jump. Then we did an animal picture quiz, but using pictures where they’re all jumping. It made the quiz a bit more challenging! Next we moved on to our craft, which is a jumping paper cup rabbit. Using rubber band and a second cup, the rabbit can jump and get some real air time! Finally we did a rabbit relay race outside. While holding balloons between our legs, we hopped like rabbits to the “carrot basket”, took one, and carried it back to our “home stash”. See you next time!
