Good afternoon!
In today’s lesson, we talked about “Nature” and “Numbers”. We started our lesson with two songs, the “Pinocchio” and the “Superhero” Song. The children were very excited for the “Superhero” song! For our main topic today, we focused on “Trees” and their parts. We learned about a few different parts including “Roots”, “Trunk”, “Branches” and “Flowers”. We also talked about “Cherry Blossom” trees. The children loved all of the different colors and are excited for “Cherry Blossom” season.
For our activity today, we reviewed our numbers from one to twenty. These would be needed for our game. Afterwards, we played a game called “Sinking Ship”. In this game, the children had to swim around the classroom and when the music stopped, they had to make a group depending on what number the teacher chose. Excellent teamwork!
