Good afternoon!
We started today’s lesson with a song called the “Freeze Dance”. The children loved dancing and singing to this song. For our main topic today we looked at very popular sport in Greenland called “Ice Hockey”. Ice Hockey is a variation of the regular sport called “Hockey. We learned all about the different types of players in Ice Hockey such as the “Player” and the “Goalkeeper” and we learned about the different piece of equipment such as the “Hockey Stick”, the “Skates” and the “Puck”.
For our activity today, we played two games called “Ice Hockey Slalom” and “Ice Hockey PK”. These games were really fun for the children and great way to practice working in teams. Excellent work everyone!
