Hello readers! Today’s circle time started with a song the kids know well: The Monkey Dance! We did gestures and sounds for monkey, elephant and tiger. It was a nice warm up for today’s game, Chores Relay. We played this game in the morning during English time, so we did a leveled up, “Kodomo no Mori version”. We had a box that had 4 balls with images on them. They were images of the 4 chores we learned: “wipe the table”, “sweep the paper”, “put away the toys” and “put away the cups”. We practiced saying all of them before doing the relay. The kids had to get a ball, say the action on it, and then do the chore. They were able to finish the relay in 3 minutes! We also did a “pairs” version, where one student said the action and the other did it. Good teamwork!
