Good afternoon! Today in circle time, we warmed up with the ILH Original, “The Puffin Dance!” We did a lot of puffin-like dance moves and had lots of fun. Then, we hopped into one area of the house, the kitchen, to help Bob. There were a lot of dirty dishes that needed washing! We learned the 4 steps of dish washing: wash, rinse, dry and put away. We washed cups, plates and spoons. Once we got the hang of it, we added a little challenge- when the background music stopped, they had to freeze! Everyone cleared the challenge. Awesome!

After that we did a quick memory game using today’s kitchen items. We studied the pattern on the floor, and one student took an item. The other kids had to guess which one was missing! We learned sentences like “turn around”, “close your eyes” and “what do you have”. See you next time!
