Good afternoon!
In today’s lesson, we said goodbye to Colombia and hello to Greenland. We learned all about the country of Greenland and discussed where it is on the world map. Next, we looked at different places in Greenland and the children were surprised with all of the snow and ice. For our songs today we started with a frosty song called the “Freeze Dance” and moved onto a more super song called “Superhero”.
To finish our lesson, we played a game called “Iceberg Ahead!”. In this game, we had two teams, team iceberg and team boat captain. The goal of the game was to navigate the blind boat captains passed the icebergs. This was also a great opportunity to learn some navigational words such as “Left”, “Right”, “Forward” and “Back”. Great navigation captains!
