Today in music class I had two twenty minute classes. In each class we started by dancing to the ILH Hello Song and Jungle Samba. Then I sat the kids down and explained to them different shapes and we tried making them with our hands. Then we did a dance using those shapes to ILH Shapes Salsa. Then we gathered around the piano and sang Skidamarink followed by ILH Whatever the Weather. When we sang we played shaker instruments to practice our rhythm as well.
