Hello readers! Today’s circle time was both spooky and active! First, we warmed up with the “Move!” dance. It was a good way to review the “left and right” lesson from before! After that, we learned about 6 creatures: zombie, mummy, witch, vampire, skeleton and ghost! We also learned gestures for each of them. We used these gestures for all three of today’s games!

Our first game was a Monster Guessing Game. The kids picked a monster and did a gesture in front of the class. The other kids guessed which monster it was! Our second game is a remix of a previous game, Monster Watcher. The kids enjoyed saying sentences like “Oh no! It’s a zombie!” Finally, we played Monster Catcher! One kid in the middle was the catcher. The kid said a monster for the others to act out. Then the kids had to pass through the catcher! Finally, the weather outside was great so we did some free play. See you next time!
