Hello readers! It’s Joshua! We had a VERY active time learning English today! This October, our theme is “opposites”. We especially focused on the simple opposite words we use every day: “left/right” and “Yes I do/No I don’t”.

We started the class by doing the “Open Shut Them” song. We learned a lot of opposites like Big/Small, Fast/Slow and Loud/Quiet. The kids had fun doing all the actions together with the music. After that we did the “Yes or No?” game. We divided the room in two zones, the YES zone and NO zone. I showed them a picture and asked, “Do you like… CATS?” The kids who like cats jumped to the left, and the kids who don’t like cats jumped to the right. The kids also took turns asking the questions. It was a day full of moving, dancing, listening and speaking!
