It is now September! This month, we will be learning all about the seasons, the weather, and the Philippines!

Today, We learned interesting facts about the Philippines. We learned about the country’s national animal, the Carabao. They are strong, kind, and very helpful. We also learned about Boracay, the country’s famous white sand beach. After that we talked about the country’s popular desert, “Haluhalo”. Finally, we learned about the Philippines’ martial art, “Arnis”.

For today’s craft, we had fun coloring in the letters that make up the phrase “The Philippines”. And for today’s game, we played “Pin the tail on the Carabao”!

It was a fun filled and educational day!
