Today was a vibrant and energetic day at KNM, filled with music, dancing, and creativity! We started with a fun discussion and exploration of Polynesian dances such as Hula, Tahitian Dance, and Siva. The children were fascinated to learn about these traditional styles and even got to see what they look like in action!
Later, we reviewed sea animals and brought them to life by creating beautiful little sea creatures out of clay — each one more unique than the last.
In music class, we kicked off with the ILH Hello Song, followed by some fun movement to Shapes Salsa while practicing our shapes. We also danced to Incredible Animals and learned about different animals along the way. The kids had a blast playing a clapping and body percussion game, where they listened carefully and tried to repeat my patterns. Afterward, we gathered around the piano, played shaker instruments, and sang Whatever the Weather together. We wrapped up our time with the ILH Goodbye Song.
